Our three beautifully light and spacious rooms have been carefully designed and equipped for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Each room includes their own toilet and nappy changing area, as well as ample storage for your child’s personal belongings. Please note that the age ranges for each room are guidelines only, as we understand that each child develops at their own pace and may benefit from a slightly longer or shorter period in each area.
Once your child has enrolled with us, they will be assigned a Key Person, who is responsible for observing, assessing, monitoring and planning for each child’s specific and unique needs. Their observations will be recorded in your child’s personal Learning Journal.

Cherry Buds
Our youngest children will be cared for by fully qualified Early Years Practitioners, specially selected for their warm and friendly nature, in our lovely bright baby room. The room is carefully designed to provide your child with stimulating areas for play and exploration, as well as a calm, secure sleep area for supervised nap times. We always say your child ‘is your most prized possession’ and as this is the first step into the nursery for your babies, we work in close partnership with all families to ensure the best possible start for your child.
To ensure a smooth transition we come to visit you and your child at home, this helps us to begin relationships with our families in your own environment. This gives you the opportunity to find out more about the nursery and how we work to provide the safest and most stimulating environment for your family.

Cherry Blossoms
Our toddler room will provide a highly interactive, fun-filled environment for your child, whilst being cared for by our enthusiastic and positive staff. Your child will be provided with an exciting range of play areas to explore and experiment, including water, sand and sensory toys, arts and crafts stations and activities such as messy play and role-play, as well as a wide range of books to share. Children will be encouraged to freely explore all areas, spend time in our enclosed garden and develop their social skills by participating in group activities.

Cherry Trees
Our pre-school room is where you child will be gently prepared for their transition from nursery to primary school, by our encouraging and experienced practitioners. Within the room there will be opportunities for the children to explore their creativity. These include “mark making” stations where they can practice their drawing and writing skills, construction areas to help develop your child’s gross and fine motor skills, and cosy reading areas so your child can quietly enjoy a book. They can also enjoy messy play, role-playing activity stations and spending time in our garden.
We encourage the children to become independent learners and thinkers, by providing opportunities to develop all areas of learning as outlines in the Early Years foundation stage.

Garden
Our fully enclosed garden is directly accessible from each of our rooms. All ages interact and play together, with a fun and exciting range of toys and activities. The children grow their won fruit and vegetables, which they pick and cook with our chef.
We have a new and exclusive ‘forest friends’ purpose-built area. This helps children develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually, through a variety of planned activities. All rooms have access to this area.

Calming bubble tubes and fibre-optic sensory lighting, projectors, colour changing mood cubes and a range of multi-sensory toys provide a low-stress, fun environment for children to work through their emotions and reactions.
